Walter M. Crawford, IV - President & CEO
As president & CEO of Heatherwood Construction, Walter Crawford brings more than 20 years of experience in the construction and development industries. Walter is a LEED A.P. certified Green Builder through the
USGBC. A graduate of the prestigious M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction at the University of Florida, Walter offers clients expertise in all facets of construction, development and team building.
A recognized leader in Southwest Florida, Walter was named “Builder of the Year” by the Collier Building Industry Association in 2006 and has been lauded for his achievements as the organization’s president. He was also listed in Gulfshore Business and Gulf Coast Business Review in the publications’ “40 Under 40 Most Influential Business Leaders” lists.
He currently lends his time and expertise to numerous professional and community associations including Collier Building Industry Association and chairing the CBI Foundation. Walter has been involved in the University of Florida School of Building Construction Southwest Florida Endowment Fund Board, Southwest Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Collier County Economic Development Council, and AMI Kids Big Cypress. In recent years, he also served in volunteer leadership positions on the Community Bank Advisory Board of Directors, President’s Forum of Southwest Florida Collier Schools Construction Oversight Review Committee, Naples Mastermind Association, and the Collier County Contractor’s Licensing Board.
He is a graduate of Leadership Collier and Leadership Bonita and donated his time as a youth basketball coach at the Naples YMCA for five years and the Gateway Rotary.
